Rebecca Tovberg, Speech Language Pathologist, Clinical Director

M.S Ed, CCC-SLP, Reg. CASLPO

Rebecca Tovberg is a committed and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who has experience treating and assessing both paediatric and adult populations in a variety of clinical settings in the US and Toronto. 

She completed her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Sciences at Brock University and received her Master of Science in Education in Speech Language Pathology at the State University of New York at Buffalo State University.

Rebecca strives to help clients achieve their goals in therapy, making learning skills attainable and enjoyable. She has experience treating preschool, school-aged, and adult populations with difficulties in articulation, fluency, voice and resonance, language, cognition, hearing, swallowing, social communication, and communication modalities.

 

Rebecca has worked with children who experience developmental disorders such as Down Syndrome and autism spectrum disorder. She aims to create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters learning.

Hema Ramalingam

Speech Language Pathology Assistant  

Hema is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with over 8 years of clinical experience in India and the past 2 years serving as a Speech-Language Therapy Assistant in Canada. With a strong background in Healthcare Administration, she is committed to delivering organized, client-centered care across schools, daycare centres, clinics, and community settings.

Her expertise spans a wide range of communication needs, including working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), stuttering, and speech sound disorders. She has also provided care for patients in ENT, pediatrics, and disability services, offering tailored therapy that addresses each client’s unique goals.

Proficient in assessments and therapy, Hema has been actively involved in outreach programs such as cleft lip and palate initiatives and audiology camps, expanding her impact beyond traditional clinical settings. She continues to enhance her professional skills through participation in international conferences and ongoing learning opportunities.

Hema works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic, evidence-based approach to care. Known for her energetic and enthusiastic personality, she thrives on engaging with children, creating fun and simple activities to maintain their interest during speech therapy sessions. She also enjoys developing customized therapy materials, ensuring every child receives personalized, effective, and enjoyable therapy experiences.

Emily Berlovich

Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Emily Berlovich completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario and is currently in her second year of the Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology program at the University of Toronto.

 

Emily is a dedicated and enthusiastic speech-language pathology assistant with experience supporting autistic individuals across the lifespan, adults with aphasia and other communication difficulties, and children with needs in articulation, language, literacy, fluency, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Having been involved in research labs throughout her education, Emily is committed to implementing and staying informed about evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.

 

She is passionate about providing individualized care and building meaningful relationships with clients and their families to ensure the best support is provided. Emily is also committed to creating a fun and inclusive environment for her clients to grow.

Kamilla Suleimanov

Speech Language Pathology Assistant  

Kamilla Suleimanov completed her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at McMaster University. She previously graduated from the Wilfred Laurier University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Kamilla has experience working with both children and adults across a variety of settings, including private practice, children's treatment centres, long-term care homes, school boards, and virtual services. Kamilla has provided support to her clients in areas such as literacy, fluency, early language development, articulation, social communication, Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) and cognitive communication. 
She is dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families, and is passionate about providing personalized, client-centred care. She is committed to empowering clients and their families to take an active role in setting goals that are meaningful, personally relevant, and aligned with what matters most to them

Kamilla is multilingual with conversational proficiency in French and Russian.
